a giant lego is always cool

For my 3D graphic design class I was told that I needed to go out and buy a large lego so that I would have something physical to look at to make sure that I got all of my proportions right.  Honestly, it was just an excuse to go and buy a giant lego, but who cares?

So here is my lego man that I got to help me in my endeavors to design a three dimensional version of him.  He can sit, he can stand, he can almost do the splits, and his feet light up!  How awesome is that?

wunderland

They can be found in children's books about girls named Alice, or perhaps during the winter and you sing about walking around in them, and there are even miniature ones, specifically the one in Hamburg, Germany.  What are these places?  They are lands of wonders or marvels.  Or more simply, wonderlands.

Now I know that this video is close to five whole minutes, which in YouTube time is closer to a century, but I highly suggest that you watch it to the end.



It was worth those five minutes of your life wasn't it?  You also want to go see it in person now, don't you?  Ya, I thought so.

calculus is cool

TOMS has now made it possible for me to show off how nerdy I am by wearing shoes that have calculus printed on them.  Yes, calculus.

Purposes these shoes serve:

2. They show off my love for calculus
3. They provide me with integrals to solve when class is boring.
